Hurrah Web Solutions ("Hurrah.dev", "we", "our", or "us") builds custom software for small businesses. This Privacy Policy describes what personal information we collect through hurrah.dev (the "Website"), including its free tools, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.

By using the Website, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Website or give us personal information.

Personal Information We Collect

"Personal information" means information that identifies you, or that can reasonably be linked to you. We collect it only when you give it to us or when you use the Website:

  • Contact and inquiry forms. Your name, email address, phone number, and message.
  • Free tools. What you type into a tool (for example, a description of your busywork, a website address to scan, or answers to a calculator), and your email address if you ask us to send you a result.
  • FairBid. The quotes and documents you upload for review, and what you tell us about the project.
  • Sign-in. The phone number or email address we send your one-time sign-in code to.
  • Feedback from client sites. When someone uses the feedback form on a website we built, we receive their message together with the name and email address of their account on that site.
  • Technical data. Your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request, which our servers record for security and to diagnose errors.

How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information to answer your inquiry, run the tool you asked for and send you its result, review the quote you uploaded, sign you in, act on client feedback, keep the Website secure, fix errors, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Who We Share It With

We share personal information only with the service providers that operate the Website for us, and only as much as each one needs to do its job:

  • Microsoft Azure hosts the Website, its database, and uploaded files. Azure Application Insights records performance and error data.
  • Anthropic processes what you type into our AI-assisted tools and the quotes you upload to FairBid, to produce the result you asked for.
  • Azure AI Document Intelligence reads the text of documents you upload.
  • Twilio sends text messages, including sign-in codes.
  • SendGrid (a Twilio company) sends email.
  • Google reCAPTCHA checks that a form submission comes from a person, not a bot.
  • IPinfo suggests your country when you type a phone number.
  • Sentry receives error reports. We remove email addresses, phone numbers and similar fields from them before they are sent, but a report can still contain some personal information.

We may also disclose personal information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business.

Cookies, Analytics, and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, browser local storage, and similar technologies to operate this website and, with your consent, to understand how visitors use it. We group these into two categories.

Strictly necessary. These are required for the website to function (for example, remembering your cookie choice, keeping you signed in, security, and submitting forms you fill out). They do not require consent and are always active.

Analytics (consent required). These do not run until you click "Accept" on our cookie banner. If you click "Decline", or do not choose, they never load. They are:

  • Microsoft Clarity: usage analytics and session replay. It records pages viewed, clicks, and scrolling, which helps us improve the website.
  • Google Analytics: traffic analytics. It measures visits, where visitors come from, and general usage patterns.

These tools may set their own cookies and send interaction data to their providers.

Sign-in and administration pages do not load these tools when you open them directly.

Your choices. On your first visit we ask you to accept or decline. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's cookies and local storage, which makes the banner appear again on your next visit. We also ask again after 365 days, and whenever this policy changes materially. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies; doing so may affect how the website works.

Consent records. When you accept or decline, we record your choice together with your IP address, your browser's user-agent string, the page you were on, the date and time, and the version of this policy you responded to. This record is our only durable evidence of what you agreed to and when, so we keep it for as long as that proof may be needed, including beyond our routine log retention period. We use it only as proof of your decision, never for analytics or advertising.

"Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" (California residents). We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. How Long We Keep It

  • Server activity logs are deleted after 365 days.
  • Form submissions and consent records are kept until we no longer need them as a record of what you sent us or agreed to.
  • Leads and tool results are kept until we delete them. We do not store the quotes you upload to FairBid; we keep only a summary of each review.

How We Protect It

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted connections and access limited to the people who need it. No method of protection is perfect, so we cannot guarantee the security of your information.

Your Choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To stop receiving email from us, reply to any message or write to us. You may have more rights under the law of your state.

Children

The Website is for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. When a change is material, we will ask for your cookie choice again. The date at the top shows when this policy last changed.
